Sales Development Representative

If you thrive in the thrill of the hunt and celebrate gaining the interest and respect of prospective buyers, then we need to talk!

We’re seeking a curious, gritty and persuasive professional with sales development experience in the enterprise software space. The right candidate will have a knack for learning a new domain and using that knowledge to nurture and persuade senior stakeholders (Director, VP and C-level) on calls, emails and other forms of outreach. The sales development representative will be responsible for scheduling appointments – creating opportunities for our strategic sales executives to meet with prospective clients.

The position is based out of our offices in Alpharetta, Georgia. The rest of the core team is based out of Atlanta, and it would be ideal if you are in eastern or central time zones. That said, we’re open to working with the right candidate regardless of location or time zone.

Responsibilities

Write & fine-tune compelling and persuasive content for written and verbal communication with prospective clients.

Make outbound calls to director and senior manager level contacts at medium sized to large organizations in the North American market.

Engage prospects and customers in an outbound mode on email, LinkedIn and other select social channels.

Use tools such as salesforce.com and outreach.io, measure effectiveness of outreach efforts and find opportunities for continuously improvement.

Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure that all outreach efforts are done in a cohesive manner to drive lead nurturing and appointments.

Requirements

Experience with outbound calling and demonstrated performance in appointment scheduling.

Familiarity with B2B lead generation best practices including use of digital channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn, chat and email.

Exposure to copywriting, resume writing or recruiting (in that order) considered a big plus.

High degree of emotional intelligence and situational awareness to engage prospective clients in a personalized manner and secure their time and attention.

Conversational skills – ability to sense, listen and build rapport with prospects over the phone

Detail-oriented approach to work, strong organizational skills and track record of results derived through diligent work practices. Familiarity with salesforce.com, outreach.io or other similar tools.

Familiarity with typical B2B sales cycles and methodologies.
