Russell Corporation Selects Jacada to Web-Enable and Integrate Legacy Systems
Atlanta, March 12, 2003 – Jacada Ltd. (NASDAQ: JCDA), the leading provider of legacy integration and web-to-host solutions, today announced that Russell Corporation (NYSE:RML), a leading athletic, activewear, and outdoors company, has selected Jacada to enhance the usability of and access to its legacy applications.
Russell will use Jacada's suite of legacy integration and web-enablement products to accomplish key objectives, including Web-enabling their order entry application to improve access and user-friendliness. In addition, Jacada software will help Russell ease the pain of system integration created by business acquisitions.
"We were very impressed with Jacada's product offerings as well as the ease-of-use and the rapid time to market," said Bob Keefe, CIO of Russell. "Jacada's advanced integration technology will help us connect our existing legacy systems, and those we gain through acquisitions, to our current information systems which will provide more manageability and richer access to our legacy applications."
"As we move forward developing innovative solutions for Russell, Jacada will help us re-engineer existing legacy systems and generate a modern user interface that will improve user efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve service," said Keefe.
